Alan Bodner is an award-winning animation artist and art director who has distinguished himself during the past 25 years working for Hollywood’s most respect studios on some of the most acclaimed animation projects for film and television.

Bodner was most recently at Warner Bros. Animation where he was Art Director for the legendary “Looney Tune” series for television, as well as theatrical shorts featuring the classic characters from that series including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig and Sylvester & Tweety.

Previously, Bodner served as Art Director at DreamWorks Animation, Walt Disney Television Animation, Cartoon Network and an earlier stint at Warner Bros. Animation. During those years, he worked on such notable film and television projects as “Phineas & Ferb,” “The Replacements,” Emmy-nominated “Kim Possible,” “Mickey’s Twice Upon A Christmas,” “The Iron Giant,” “Cinderella II,” the classic Bugs Bunny short “Carrotblanca,” “Garfield & Friends,” “Neighbors From Hell” and “The Life & Times of Juniper Lee.”

Bodner has been nominated for an Annie Award five times, and won once for “The Iron Giant.”

Early in his career, Bodner worked on classic shows including “Mighty Mouse,” “The Fat Albert Show,” “Heckle & Jeckle” as well as illustration for “Pee Wee’s Playhouse.”

Bodner’s work is eagerly sought-after by collectors, with his original animation art displayed and sold at animation galleries across the country as well as museums, including the Paley Center For Media in Beverly Hills..

In addition to his work in animation, Bodner is also an acclaimed fine artist known for his unique perspective and vision as well as his distinctive use of colors and shapes. His pieces are often multi-dimensional, and combine bright colors into retro-lounge style works of art. Bodner’s original work has been exhibited in art galleries throughout Los Angeles, and he has been the featured artist in several shows.

Bodner was born and raised in Portland Oregon and currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
