Bio

Alan is the original art director on the Emmy nominated Disney Channel hit Kim Possible (Outstanding Animated Program). He has also been recently nominated for an Annie, and indeed won the coveted award for his artistic contributions to the Warner Bros. animation feature Iron Giant.

It was at the prestigious Art Center College of Design where Alan began his journey. After graduating, he was quickly working on such venerable shows as Mighty Mouse, The Fat Albert Show, and Heckle & Jeckle. In 1982, Alan started work with ABC News in New York City as a supervising graphic artist where he contributed to such shows as Nightline and World News Tonight.

It was in 1986 when Alan's career took a major turn. Alan made the difficult decision of leaving the Big Apple to move back to Hollywood for a long and fruitful relationship with Warner Bros. Animation. Once there he started work on Bugs and Daffy shorts like The Duxorcist, Box Office Bunny, and Invasion of the Bunny Snatchers. It was under the mentorship of the old Looney Toon greats that he achieved tenure and then went on to the wonderful Marvin Martian in the 3rd Dimension, Carrotblanca (chosen to appear with the special DVD edition of Casablanca), and Little Go Beep. The pinnacle of Alan's time at Warner Bros. culminated with art direction on the animated feature Iron Giant for which he won, as mentioned above, the coveted Annie Award. It was during this period of success that Alan made the move to Miramax Television where he worked on Kevin Smith's Clerks: The Animated Series.

After completing his assignment at Miramax, Alan segued to Walt Disney Television Animation where he worked in development and then it was on to Kim Possible and Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas, the all CGI Holiday adventures of Mickey Mouse, the little guy who started it all. After that Alan art directed The Life and Times of Juniper Lee at the Cartoon Network in Burbank, California.

For the past two years, Alan has been has an Art Director at Walt Disney Television Animation working on series and pilot development including Phineas & Ferb and The Replacements .

What's next? Well, as Alan might say, "Open the curtain, cause ya ain't seen nothin' yet!"
